2013 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,900 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Large Double Double please (I actually drink medium regulars)

I walk to Tim Horton’s
to get some drugs.
I’m a fiend
and I find withdrawal symptoms
in my present if I do not find
a daily fix.
This is a socially
acceptable crucifix
dawned by the masses
embraced by
the working classes.
To gulp down
a double double
is to be Canadian.
Walnut crunch
my way into
a family orientated stimulant
hell, pick up a bakers dozen.
Boston cream my pants
with dissatisfaction
concerning the classification
of what is considered an intoxicant.
I can’t tolerate it any longer
I’m gonna say it
sugar is a gateway drug
right next to breast milk
and being born.
